Located in the peaceful province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines, Duka Bay Resort and Restaurant is located in the town of
Medina. Medina is roughly midway between Butuan and Cagayan de Oro cities, which are easily accessible by air and sea travel
from Cebu and Manila and land travel from Davao and Zamboanga cities.
Due to the rich corals underneath the protected
bay, Duka Bay is the only white sand beach in Medina.
Duka Bay Resort is a boutique beach resort where personalized
service is guaranteed.
All the existing cottages at Duka Bay Resort are fully airconditioned with queen and king-sized beds. Each cottage is equipped
with modern bathrooms with hot and cold showers. Some cottages have balconies that provide a breathtaking view of the bay
and islands beyond. Although the cottages' architecture is unified, each cottage is furnished differently, providing frequent
guests with variety.
An open air-conditioned restaurant serves both native and continental fare. One one side of the resort are native huts with
barbecue pits for day-trippers.
Facilities include a fresh-water fishing pond, a glass btoom boat for a wet-free
coral exploration, snorkels, flippers, kayaks, bangkas and a water bike, among others.
Thanks to the carefully planted fully grown trees and lanscape, it is possible to enjoy the beach with or without getting
a tan. Overseas visitors as well as local residents will have a lasting pleasurable experience at Duka Bay.
